Our effort began in 2004 as an effort of a group of brothers and sisters to bring AlMaghrib Institute to Atlanta. We named our team Banu Salaam [Tribe of Peace]. Our objective: to lobby & convince AlMaghrib Institute to host their Islamic seminars in Atlanta.

Alhumd'illah in the spring of 2007 our efforts paid off and we became among the few cities in the U.S. to be granted Qabeelat Status. Since spring of 2007 we are officially Qabeelat Salaam, the Atlanta Campus of AlMaghrib Institute.
